Perpendicular Consultancy were commissioned with Better Delivery to advise Darlington District Council of potential mmc housing solutions for council owned land throughout Darlington. We researched the feasibility of different mmc approaches suggesting potential solutions.

Mallard Homes

From establishing a Sustainability, Social & MMC Strategy we have developed a Kit-of-Parts housing solution using locally sourced biogenic materials that allow us to go beyond Net Carbon Zero and build Passivhaus Plus homes which are affordable for all.

Clarion Housing Group

Perpendicular Consultancy provided a design peer review report to Clarion’s modular housing product book. This involved reviewing, commenting and suggesting alternative design solutions to the draft product book completed by Pollard Thomas Edwards.

Design consultancy to be ‘Design Guardians’ for Alconbury Secondary School, Cambridgeshire. Our continued contribution resulted in Morgan Sindall winning the bid to design and build a new campus which will form the heart of the new masterplan.

Perpendicular worked alonside Better Delivery to advise Wates Group on improving construction efficiencies using mmc for a development on the Kings Road, London. This for example included potential bathroom pods and facade solutions.
